We explore and experiment. We learn by making mistakes.
Connor Burtis is a graphic designer. His professional design career began 8 years ago at a screen printing shop; though his love for design began much earlier than that in middle school, spending hours on end in front of his family's computer designing and coding MySpace layouts, making t-shirts for events and posters for fun. He is a passionate tinkerer and creator of anything and everything. In his free time he enjoys building and racing classic cars, woodworking, gardening, perfecting his smoked pork butt recipe, and spending time with his 8 year old daughter, Berkley and his girlfriend Sara.
Bobby George is an apprentice. The only term that he’s discovered that represents the approach to work that he likes to take is Shoshin, which means “beginner’s mind”. It refers to having an attitude of openness, eagerness, and lack of preconceptions. What he’s found is that the best teams approach the biggest challenges with a mind that is just beginning to learn. Here, attention to detail is as crucial as attitude and vision, coupled with a serious desire to persist - despite all odds. In his free time, he enjoys learning about photography, taking pictures of people, places and ideas.
